ePortfolio to track a teacher’s career and use of an ePortfolio for qualification, annual review, registration, job interview or sharing practice with colleagues as an efficient way to record experience

AIMS:

To develop a training programme for artists, adaptable in an extended European context, and to create a framework in order to accredit practitioners already working with the arts inside prisons. The training aims were empower participants in their creativity, while preparing them for work in challenging settings, using a mixed media approach and up-to date digital technologies to create versatile online facilities.

AIMS:

Main aim of the project is to modernize and develop existing and create new multimedia materials for learning languages which would be oriented to acquisition of professional terminology and adapted to the specific professional situations in tourism industry.

RESULTS:

The blended learning three-level (A2, B1, B2) German course for tourism professionals who need to communicate in everyday business situations including cross-cultural competencies. Blended-learning course is made as combination of various modules, including self-learning digital materials (DVD, CD-ROM) and printed materials (handbooks in several languages).

AIMS:

The project intends to reduce risk of the safety problems in tourism sector through the development of innovations in tourism education (including further education and adult education).

RESULTS:

The project results will be:

1) Improved tourism management educational programme, online support for assessment, assistance, and continuous upgrading of the tourism guide and tourism manager qualification;

2) Material for improving the quality of tourism service enterprise management.

b) Training Tool “A guide of safety aspects within tourist routes”, including all relevant travel safety and security areas, which should be considered by the tourism service provider and travellers, accompanied by practical examples about tourism safety and security.

DIALOGUE: Developing in-service teacher-training programmes to encourage Innovative Approaches for the teaching of European Literature & Drama and the encOuragement of linGUistic diversity in Education, Project No. 128730-CP-1-2006-1-UK-COMENIUS-C21

AIMS:

DIALOGUE aims to promote closer links between a new approach to European literature and drama and a wider linguistic representation within it.
Given the limitations of the traditional chronological method, DIALOGUE works to encourage teacher-trainers to adopt a thematic approach to these subjects using topics of direct relevance to young people, linked to the exploration of works in their original language.

RESULTS:

Developed multi-lingual in-service teacher-training learning package:

• research into current practices;
• identification of innovative teaching methods, developed through workshops and piloting;
• identification of suitable project topics and themes;
• a thematic compendium of literature & drama from a range of countries;
